Company Puts Cars on Auction for as Low as Ksh70,000; How to Bid

A public auction has been announced, giving car buyers a chance to purchase vehicles at surprisingly low prices, with some models starting at Ksh172,000.

The auction is being conducted by Onyango and Tarus, a company representing the auctioneer, as stated in a notice published in local newspapers on Monday.

According to the announcement, the vehicles are available for public viewing at various yards across the country.

Buyers interested in purchasing a car through this auction have a variety of models to choose from, ranging from budget-friendly options to mid-range and high-end vehicles.

Budget-Friendly Cars for Auction

Some of the most affordable cars in the auction include a 2016 Toyota Vitz, listed at Ksh173,000, available for viewing at Valuers Yard – Roasters in Nairobi.

Additionally, a 2008 Toyota Passo is going for Ksh264,000, while an Isuzu Tir 54 S/C I-190 4X2 is priced at Ksh244,000, both of which can be viewed at Auto Gallery Ltd in Westlands.

Other budget-friendly cars up for auction include:

  • Mitsubishi Lancer CS5W – Ksh299,000
  • 2000 Mitsubishi Pajero IO 1.8 – Ksh274,000
  • 2012 Mitsubishi Colt – Ksh444,000
  • 2004 Volkswagen Golf – Ksh304,000 (available at Stractbuck Yard in Malindi)
  • 2003 Subaru Legacy – Ksh425,000

Mid-Range Vehicles Available for Auction

For those looking for slightly more expensive but still affordable personal cars, the auction has a wide selection of mid-range options. Among them are:

  • Toyota Crown GRS180 – Ksh612,000
  • 2013 Toyota Fielder NZE161 – Ksh851,000
  • Toyota Fielder ZRE142G-AWXAK – Ksh782,000

Additionally, there are options for people interested in vans, pickups, and sedans, including:

  • 2006 Toyota Hilux LAN25R – Ksh569,000
  • 2011 Toyota Hiace TRH200 – Ksh635,000
  • 2007 Mercedes C200 – Ksh652,000
  • 2010 Toyota TownAce S402M – Ksh439,000
  • Toyota Probox – Ksh522,000
  • 2010 Toyota Crown Royal – Ksh803,000

Most Expensive Car in the Auction

The highest-priced vehicle in the auction is a 2014 Toyota Fielder ZRE162, listed at Ksh1,025,000. This vehicle can be viewed at Auto Gallery Ltd in Westlands, Nairobi.

How to Participate in the Auction

Those interested in purchasing a vehicle through this auction must submit their bids on the auctioneer’s official website, www.eezycars.co.ke, by April 1, 2025.

All cars are sold on an “as is, where is” basis, meaning buyers will purchase the vehicles in their current condition without further guarantees or modifications.

This auction presents a great opportunity for individuals looking to own a car at an affordable price. Buyers are encouraged to visit the designated yards to inspect the vehicles before placing their bids.
