Onyango and Tarus Company has announced the auction of 39 vehicles, with prices starting as low as Ksh55,000. Among the cars listed is a Nissan Pulsar, which is currently available for viewing at the Naivasha Investment storage yard.

The auction features a variety of car brands, including Nissan, Volkswagen, Mazda, Mercedes, Isuzu, Eicher, BMW, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Tata Xenon.

The price range of the vehicles varies, with the most affordable car starting at Ksh55,000, while the highest-priced vehicle goes for Ksh3.5 million.

Interested buyers can visit multiple storage yards to view the vehicles before making their offers.

These locations include the Valuers yard in Nairobi, Joyland yard in Eldoret, Capita Diamond in Thika, Stratruck Investment yard in Malindi, Leakey Storage in the Industrial Area, Eezy Storage yard in Ruiru, and the Rema Storage yard in Bungoma.

According to the auctioneers, potential buyers have until April 9, 2025, to submit their offers.

“We are inviting interested buyers to submit their offers for the listed vehicles through private treaty. The deadline for submitting offers is Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at noon,” the company stated in its announcement.

Police Stations to Auction Motorcycles and Vehicles

The announcement by Onyango and Tarus Company comes shortly after five police stations revealed plans to auction unclaimed vehicles and motorcycles. The affected police stations include Jogoo Road, Embakasi, Nairobi Central, Villa, and Kongowea.

A gazette notice published on March 28, 2025, stated that auctioneers working with these police stations will sell 113 motorcycles and 29 vehicles to the highest bidders if the owners do not claim them.

At Jogoo Road Police Station, seven motorcycles, a generator, bicycles, scrap metal, and a trolley have remained unclaimed for a long time.

The station has now issued a final notice to the owners, urging them to retrieve their belongings before they are auctioned off.

Embakasi Police Station has also listed 69 motorcycles, 22 vehicles, 10 bicycles, three carts, and a chassis for auction.

The station has given owners a 30-day deadline, starting from March 18, to clear any outstanding costs and collect their items.

Nairobi Central Police Station will auction 17 motorcycles and three vehicles. The listed cars include brands such as Honda, Captain, Boxer, Hero, Toyota, and BMW.

Villa Police Station has announced an auction for 11 motorcycles and four vehicles, with motorcycle brands including Honda, Hero, and Tiger. The available vehicles are Mitsubishi and Toyota models.

Kongowea Police Station has also listed nine motorcycles, one tuk-tuk, and two bicycles for auction.

The police stations have urged all owners of these vehicles and motorcycles to collect their items within seven days from March 18 after clearing any accumulated charges.

Failure to do so will result in the items being sold to the highest bidders.
