The family of Susan Kamengere Njoki, the CEO and Founder of Toto Touch Kenya, is calling for justice after her sudden and suspicious death, which they believe resulted from being forcefully injected with unknown medication.
Reports say Susan passed away on July 15, just one day after she was allegedly abducted from her home and injected with drugs against her will before being rushed to a hospital. Audio recordings obtained by KTN News reveal a chilling account of what happened.
In the recordings, Susan says several men stormed her Kileleshwa home, overpowered her, and forcefully gave her injections—allegedly acting on instructions from her husband.
In the emotional audio, Susan describes how two men held her down while two individuals she identified as nurses injected her. She begged for answers, asking why she was being forced to take medicine and where they were taking her, but the men remained silent, leaving her scared and confused.
“They put me in a vehicle and when I asked, they said we were going to Lavington. I kept asking—why are you forcing me to take injections? Why are you removing me from my home if you’re professionals?” she asked, clearly distressed.
Susan also mentioned that she had previously dealt with long-term health issues, including depression, which had led to past hospitalizations. However, she emphasized that at the time of the incident, she was doing well, had completed treatment, and was mentally stable.
“I have an interview tomorrow with an international company. Do you think they would schedule that with someone who’s unstable? Why are you trying to drag me back to a place I’ve already healed from?” she said, pointing blame at her husband.
She further accused her husband of previously trying to keep her hospitalized even after doctors had cleared her.
Speaking on the evening of July 17, her family expressed deep concern and disbelief over her death. They said Susan had been in good condition and had no major health issues before the incident.
According to her sister, Susan had even posted about the ordeal on Facebook—but was allegedly forced to delete the post by the same men who took her from her home.
The family also claimed that when they attempted to visit her at the hospital, they were denied access. They were told they needed approval from her husband, which they never received. Soon after, they were informed of her passing.
Following these disturbing events, the family reported the matter at Kabete Police Station. Officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have since launched a probe into the mysterious and heartbreaking death of the young CEO as the family continues to demand answers and justice.
