Autopsy Reveals Toto Touch CEO Susan Kamengere Njoki Died from Manual Strangulation

An autopsy conducted by a team of pathologists has confirmed that Susan Kamengere Njoki, the CEO of Toto Touch, died from manual strangulation.

Speaking during a press briefing on Tuesday, July 22, a panel of six pathologists disclosed that Njoki suffered significant neck injuries caused by physical compression. The injuries were consistent with someone being strangled using bare hands.

The post-mortem report further explained that the intense pressure applied to Njoki’s neck led to a severe restriction of oxygen flow in her bloodstream, which ultimately caused her death.

“All signs clearly indicate that Susan died as a result of manual strangulation. This is a unanimous conclusion from all six pathologists,” said Dr. Joseph Ndungu, one of the lead medical examiners on the case.

The pathologists also mentioned that they observed additional medical findings during the autopsy, but these were not linked to the cause of death. “Some of the other observations we made may be related to pre-existing conditions and are not relevant to the cause of death,” Dr. Ndungu clarified.

The team also revealed a crucial detail: Njoki had died just a few hours after her last meal, which they confirmed by finding undigested food in her stomach. “Based on the state of digestion, it’s likely she died within four hours after eating,” the doctor added.

Importantly, the pathologists disputed earlier claims that Njoki died while being transported to the hospital. According to their findings, she passed away while in the hospital, not on the way there as previously reported by investigators from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Njoki’s death occurred on July 15, just one day after she was allegedly forcibly taken from her home in Kileleshwa. Reports indicate she was injected with an unknown substance before being moved to the hospital under unclear circumstances.

In chilling audio recordings obtained by KTN News, Njoki described the horrifying moments when several men stormed into her house. She recounted how two of the men held her down, while two women, believed to be nurses, injected her with a substance—an act she said was done without her consent.

In the audio clip, Njoki is heard pleading and demanding answers, but the men refused to tell her where they were taking her, leaving her frightened and confused.

She blamed her husband for orchestrating the entire ordeal, claiming it was not the first time he had forced her into hospitalization, even after she had been discharged from previous treatments.

This tragic incident has raised serious concerns about domestic abuse, misuse of medical procedures, and violations of personal rights. Investigations into her death are ongoing, with increasing public pressure for justice and accountability in what is now being treated as a possible homicide case.
