Vera Sidika made headlines once again as she redefined the post-breakup narrative by hosting an extravagant divorce party to mark the end of her marriage to singer Brown Mauzo.

Sharing on social media, Vera reflected on the party’s atmosphere, concluding that ‘a divorce party surpasses therapy.

Amidst the presence of The Real Housewives of Nairobi cast and her friends, Vera exclaimed, ‘Free like a bird, let’s kick off this party. Marriage is a scam, everyone!'”

Joining the festivities were The Real Housewives of Nairobi cast, along with a select group of her friends.

Videos shared by the mother of two verified that the party met her expectations, unfolding with all the hallmarks of a lively and uninhibited celebration.

Emphasizing that her perspective on marriage was subjective, Vera distinguished it as her personal belief, acknowledging that while she viewed marriage as deceitful, others may find it beautiful.

In her defense of a specific lifestyle, Vera called out Kenyans for hypocrisy, pointing out their tendency to criticize behaviors they themselves engage in behind closed doors.

“Kenya, we love indulging in debauchery, but we act sanctimonious when we see someone else openly living that life carefree. It’s not that we hate it. We just hate their guts. But behind closed doors, we do the same thing,” Vera slammed.

Vera Sidika Mung’asia and Brown Mauzo announced their split on August 30, 2023, after being together for about three years,” Vera confirmed.

“We met in August 2020 and got married, then later in 2021, I got pregnant with our first child,” she recounted. “We had previously attracted attention with rumors about our breakup in April 2023, but it was on August 30th that Brown Mauzo posted a statement confirming our separation,” Vera explained.

“I later confirmed it, and it’s said to be a joint statement between us. After being blessed with two kids, we called it quits,” she concluded.
