Sifuna Shocked After Angry Gaucho Lectures Him After Permanently Kicked Out of ODM!! Watch

Sifuna Left Stunned as Gaucho Blasts Him Following ODM Ouster

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has found himself at the center of another political storm after his removal from the position of ODM Secretary General sparked strong reactions from politicians, party supporters, and political commentators.

Among those who weighed in was outspoken political activist Calvince Okoth, popularly known as Gaucho, who launched a scathing attack on Sifuna over his recent conduct within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). Gaucho argued that Sifuna had become increasingly confrontational towards the party leadership, insisting that no individual is bigger than the party.

Speaking during a public discussion, Gaucho claimed that Sifuna should accept the party’s decision instead of engaging in constant criticism of ODM leaders.

According to him, political parties operate under established constitutions and collective leadership, and members who disagree with party decisions should either respect internal mechanisms or chart their own political path.

Gaucho further alleged that Sifuna’s repeated criticism of the party leadership had created unnecessary divisions within ODM at a time when the party needed unity. He argued that party discipline is essential for any political organization hoping to remain strong ahead of future elections.

The remarks came shortly after ODM’s National Executive Committee announced the removal of Sifuna from the powerful Secretary General position.

The party cited concerns over alleged indiscipline and conduct that was said to be inconsistent with the party’s constitution and leadership principles. Catherine Omanyo was subsequently appointed to serve as the acting Secretary General pending further party processes.

Despite the setback, Sifuna has maintained that his removal did not follow the party’s constitution and insisted that due process was ignored.

He challenged the decision before the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal, arguing that he was neither accorded a fair hearing nor notified appropriately before the decision was made.

The tribunal temporarily halted the implementation of his removal before directing both sides to pursue the party’s internal dispute resolution mechanisms.

Gaucho, however, remained unmoved, maintaining that leaders who fundamentally disagree with their political parties should consider stepping aside instead of engaging in prolonged public confrontations.

He argued that loyalty and discipline remain critical values in party politics and warned that personal ambitions should never supersede party interests.

The developments have generated intense debate across Kenya’s political landscape, with supporters and critics expressing differing opinions on whether ODM acted fairly or whether the party was justified in enforcing discipline against one of its most prominent leaders.

As the legal and political process continues, Sifuna’s future within ODM remains one of the country’s closely watched political stories.
