In a harrowing incident that has shocked the local community, a 30-year-old mother took the lives of her two children, aged 12 and 3, before ending her own life on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
The grisly discovery was made by police who were forced to break into the family home after the woman had locked it from the inside.
The police found the children’s bodies inside the residence, which was described as being in a state of horror, with the children lying in a pool of blood.
The mother had used a panga to commit the murders and then hanged herself.
