Kenyans were left bewildered after a man from Nandi County, David Mitei, also known as Mea, claimed to be the father of the well-known giant, Bradley Marongo, famously referred to as Mtall.
In a TikTok video, Mea, accompanied by his wife, expressed his excitement, stating that he only sees his supposed son on TV and would love for him to visit their home so that he could gift him a piece of land.
This claim has left many Kenyans scratching their heads, as another family from Kakamega County had previously declared that Bradley was their son. The conflicting claims have raised questions about the true identity of Bradley’s father.
In the video, Mea passionately declared his fatherhood, and his wife stood by his side, affirming his statement. “I have land, and I am ready to give him a portion of it,” Mea cheerfully announced.
Kenyans have had mixed reactions to this situation. Some, like Godfrey Wambaya Kakai, pointed out that “The mother is the one who knows the father.”
Elizabeth Awuor suggested, “A DNA test should be mandatory for proof.” Others, like Alex Wekesa, questioned, “Where were these people before?” Ben Ochieng humorously added, “Let’s find their biological father; he’s the same person.”
Jane Wambui shared her confusion, saying, “I thought his father was long dead?” Similarly, Maggie Nzau commented, “I thought his daddy’s relatives wanted him to visit his grave.
How many daddies does he have?” Maina Wa Gicengo chimed in with a proverb, “Success has many fathers; failure, on the other hand, is an orphan.”
The situation has left many wondering who Bradley’s real father is, with some calling for a DNA test to settle the matter once and for all.
The story has certainly sparked curiosity and debate among Kenyans, with many eager to see how this unique family drama will unfold.
