Geoffrey Mosiria was involved in a road accident on the evening of May 2, 2026, along Outer Ring Road in Nairobi, near the Kariobangi South area.
Reports indicate that the vehicle he was travelling in was hit by a lorry after the driver allegedly veered off his lane.
According to Mosiria’s statement shared on his social media accounts, the lorry driver had allegedly attempted to hit their vehicle moments earlier before the actual collision occurred.
He claimed his team initially avoided danger by slowing down, but the lorry later crossed toward their lane and struck the car, causing major damage to the side mirrors and body of the vehicle.
Videos circulating online after the crash show Mosiria angrily confronting the lorry driver at the scene.
In the footage, he questioned the driver’s conduct and accused him of reckless driving that could have caused fatalities. The lorry driver reportedly apologised and denied intentionally causing the accident.
The matter was later reported at Buruburu Police Station, where traffic officers responded to the scene and towed the lorry for further investigations.
Mosiria confirmed that he recorded a statement with police, while the driver reportedly admitted making a mistake on the road. Authorities are now investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.
Fortunately, no fatalities or serious injuries were reported. Mosiria later thanked God for surviving the incident safely and called for greater caution among motorists using Nairobi roads, especially heavy commercial drivers operating along busy highways like Outer Ring Road.
