Gospel artiste and pastor Linet Munyali, popularly known as Size 8, has announced the end of her 11-year marriage to DJ Mo.
In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram Stories on August 1, 2024, Size 8 confirmed that she is embracing single life, marking a significant shift from their publicized union.
The ‘Afadhali Yesu’ singer reflected on the challenges of marriage, acknowledging that while it can be a divine blessing, it sometimes doesn’t unfold as hoped.
Despite the end of her marriage, Size 8 expressed unwavering faith, affirming her continued devotion to worship and gratitude to God.
“Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace and sometimes it does not work but all in all God is still on the throne!!!! I’ve been married for 11 years and now I start the Journey of singlehood! But God is still on the throne I worship you Yaweh!” Size 8 shared with her followers.
The couple, who married in September 2013, have two children together.
In 2022, they addressed rumors of marital strife when Size 8 had briefly left their home, citing a need for space after a disagreement with DJ Mo.
They later reconciled with the help of spiritual guidance.
DJ Mo has yet to comment on the recent announcement.
