There, Victoria furthered her studies, graduating from Atlantic City High School and later Temple University with a degree in broadcast journalism. Even before completing her studies, Victoria gained hands-on experience through internships in the United States.
Returning to Kenya in 2010 marked the start of Victoria’s illustrious media career. She landed roles at Capital FM and NTV, honing her skills in news broadcasting, reporting, and script editing. At NTV, Victoria co-anchored marquee news programs and built a reputation for tenacious work. In 2018, she joined Citizen TV as a senior anchor for popular weekend editions.
Additionally in 2020, Victoria achieved the prestigious BBC World News Komla Dumor Award, allowing a developmental placement at BBC London. This experience no doubt contributed to her ultimately making the move to expand her talents internationally full-time in 2024.
While renowned in her field, Victoria maintains a private personal life focused on family. She became a mother young and proudly watched her daughter Neema begin university last year. Rumors surrounding Victoria’s relationships have been neither confirmed nor denied.
