Larry Madowo Hangs Out With Tiwa Savage in Lagos ! CNN international correspondent for Africa Larry Madowo has been the talk of the town in Kenya, for the better part of Monday.
A video clip he posted on social media elicited mixed reactions among netizens.
The renowned CNN journalist, who is currently stationed in West Africa, released footage chilling with Tiwa Savage. Fans had no time to spare as they promptly flocked to the comments section.
Many were asking him to marry the award-winning Nigerian singer, while others made fun of him.
“Cooking something in Lagos with Tiwa savage.
Are you ready?” he posted on twitter.
Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna made fun of Larry and advising him to represent the country well.
“Omwami taifa zima linakutegemea,” sifuna wrote.
Madowo’s journalism career began at the age of 20 at Kenya Television Network (KTN).
He rose through the ranks, working for NTV Kenya and CNBC Africa before becoming the BBC’s Business Editor for Africa. He later on moved to his current role at CNN where serves as the CNN international correspondent for Africa.
The journalist took a brief vacation to study at Columbia University, covering the 2020 US presidential election as the British Broadcaster’s North America reporter before joining CNN.
His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in communication from Daystar University and a master’s degree in business and economics journalism from Columbia University in New York.
Larry Madowo has managed to keep his relationship out of the spotlight over the years.
In October 2021, Larry and Edith Kimani left Kenyans talking after posing in highly suggestive images together.
Ever since, neither of them has verified that they are in a relationship.
